Anti-pseudouridine synthase 7 like antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the PUS7L gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 701 amino acid residues and a mass of 80.7 kDa. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 2 different isoforms for this protein. A member of the Pseudouridine synthase TruD protein family, it is reported to be a pseudouridine synthase that catalyzes pseudouridylation of mRNAs. Other names for this target antigen include pseudouridylate synthase 7 homolog-like protein, pseudouridylate synthase 7 like, and pseudouridylate synthase PUS7L. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species.
