Anti-FREUD-1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target FREUD-1 is a known alias name of the protein coiled-coil and C2 domain containing 1A, encoded by the CC2D1A gene in humans. This 951-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a transcription factor that binds specifically to the DRE (dual repressor element) and represses HTR1A gene transcription in neuronal cells. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for FREUD-1 include Aki-1 and Freud-1/Aki1. Indicated applications for FREUD-1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
