Anti-cfr1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the cfr1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GLG1 gene, which encodes golgi glycoprotein 1. This protein is known to function in the regulation of cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of cfr1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1179 residues and a protein mass of 134.6 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types.
