Anti-Negative Cofactor 2beta antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Negative Cofactor 2beta is a known alias name of the protein down-regulator of transcription 1, encoded by the DR1 gene in humans. This 176-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in chromatin remodeling and the regulation of transcription, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
