Anti-T cell receptor beta, variable 12-3 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the TRBV12-3 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 115 amino acid residues and a mass of 13 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is noted to be involved in adaptive immune responses and receptor-mediated signaling pathways. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation.
