Anti-KRTAP11-1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein keratin associated protein 11-1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 163 amino acid residues and a mass of 17.1 kDa. It is reported to be expressed in the upper matrix and in the entire hair cortex. It is a member of the PMG protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include high sulfur keratin-associated protein 11.1. KRTAP11-1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the KRTAP11-1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
