Anti-H2BS1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The H2BS1 antigen is another term for the human protein H2B clustered histone 12 like, encoded by the H2BC12L gene. The protein is an important component of nucleosome. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 126 residues and a mass of 13.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and chromosomes and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The H2BS1 protein is a member of the Histone H2B protein family. Other alias names for H2BS1 include H2B/s and H2BFS.
