Anti-H2AW antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The H2AW antigen is another term for the human protein H2A clustered histone 25, encoded by the H2AC25 gene. The protein is an important component of nucleosome. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 130 residues and a mass of 14.1 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and chromosomes and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The H2AW protein is a member of the Histone H2A protein family.
