Anti-GOLM2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein golgi membrane protein 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 436 amino acid residues and a mass of 49.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the GOLM protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include cancer susceptibility 4, cancer susceptibility candidate 4, cancer susceptibility candidate gene 4 protein, gene associated with HER-2/neu overexpression, protein CASC4, and protein GOLM2. GOLM2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
