Anti-CZIB antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein CXXC motif containing zinc binding protein. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 160 amino acid residues and a mass of 18 kDa. It is a member of the UPF0587 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include C1orf123 and UPF0587 protein C1orf123. CZIB gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
