Anti-RPL24 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ribosomal protein L24. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 157 amino acid residues and a mass of 17.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Eukaryotic ribosomal protein eL24 protein family, RPL24 is a known component of the large ribosomal subunit. Synonyms for this target antigen include L24, eL24, 60S ribosomal protein L24, 60S ribosomal protein L30, epididymis secretory protein Li 310, and HEL-S-310. RPL24 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of RPL24 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
