Anti-DLX6 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein distal-less homeobox 6. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 175 amino acid residues and a mass of 19.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Distal-less homeobox protein family, DLX6 is known to be involved with the differentiation of certain cell types. Synonyms for this target antigen include homeobox protein DLX-6. DLX6 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some DLX6 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
