Anti-OR2A7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 2 subfamily A member 7. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 310 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor OR7-18, olfactory receptor OR7-20, olfactory receptor, family 2, subfamily A, member 21, and olfactory receptor 2A7. OR2A7 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse species. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR2A7 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
