Anti-DNAJC24 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein DnaJ heat shock protein family (Hsp40) member C24. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 149 amino acid residues and a mass of 17.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the breast, tonsil, and adrenal gland. It is a member of the DPH4 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include 1700030A21Rik, CSL-type zinc finger-containing protein 3, DPH4 homolog (JJJ3, S. cerevisiae), DPH4, JJJ3 homolog, and dnaJ homolog subfamily C member 24. DNAJC24 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These DNAJC24 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
