Anti-DCK antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein deoxycytidine kinase. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 260 amino acid residues and a mass of 30.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. A member of the DCK/DGK protein family, it is known to be involved with protein phosphorylation. Post-translational modifications have been described, including phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include deoxyadenosine kinase and deoxynucleoside kinase.
