Anti-DLP1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the DLP1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DNM1L gene, which encodes dynamin 1 like. This protein is known to function in the transport of ions and endocytosis, among other biological roles. The human version of DLP1 has a canonical amino acid length of 736 residues and a protein mass of 81.9 kilodaltons, although 9 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, mitochondria, Golgi, and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. DLP1 is a member of the Dynamin/Fzo/YdjA protein family.
