Anti-PQLC2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PQLC2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SLC66A1 gene, which encodes solute carrier family 66 member 1. This protein is known to function in transmembrane transport, among other biological roles. The human version of PQLC2 has a canonical amino acid length of 291 residues and a protein mass of 31.9 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the lysosomes of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bronchus and nasopharynx. Other names for this target antigen include LAAT-1 and LAAT1. These PQLC2 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
