A majority of suppliers have reported the clone 16A to be a monoclonal antibody specific to the human gene, CDH11, or Cadherin 11. Other suppliers describe clone 16A to be a monoclonal antibody against mouse PTPRC, or protein tyrosine phosphatase, receptor type, C. This antibody clone has been reported to also recognize the mouse ortholog of the target gene. Indicated applications for antibody clone 16A include Western blot, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, immunocytochemistry, and immunoprecipitation.
