Anti-C-type lectin domain containing 9A antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CLEC9A in humans. The gene may also be known as C-type lectin domain family 9 member A, DNGR1, CD370, DNGR-1, UNQ9341, and HEEE9341. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 27.3 kilodaltons in mass. The CLEC9A marker can be used to identify Type 1 Dendritic (DC) Cells, CDC1 CD141+ Myeloid Dendritic Cells, CD141+ Myeloid Dendritic Cells, CDC1 Myeloid Dendritic Cells, and CD8?+ Thymic Conventional Dendritic Cells.* Based on gene name, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
