Anti-UPK3BL2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein uroplakin 3B like 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 263 amino acid residues and a mass of 28.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is notably expressed in the urinary bladder, tonsil, pancreas, kidney, and duodenum. It is a member of the Uroplakin-3 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include uroplakin-3b-like protein 2. UPK3BL2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and chimpanzee species.
