Anti-TENT5D antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein terminal nucleotidyltransferase 5D. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 389 amino acid residues and a mass of 44.5 kDa. A member of the TENT protein family, TENT5D is known to catalyze the transfer of one adenosine molecule from an ATP to an mRNA poly(A) tail bearing a 3'-OH terminal group. Synonyms for this target antigen include family with sequence similarity 46 member D, non-canonical poly(A) polymerase FAM46D, protein FAM46D, putative nucleotidyltransferase FAM46D, and cancer/testis antigen 112. TENT5D gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the TENT5D antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunofluorescence is also a common application.
