Anti-TEDC2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tubulin epsilon and delta complex 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 433 amino acid residues and a mass of 46.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell projections and cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the testis. TEDC2 is known to act as a positive regulator of ciliary hedgehog signaling. Synonyms for this target antigen include tubulin epsilon and delta complex protein 2 and uncharacterized protein C16orf59. TEDC2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. These TEDC2 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
