Anti-SHISAL2B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein shisa like 2B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 160 amino acid residues and a mass of 17.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is notably expressed in the pancreas. It is a member of the Shisa protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include family with sequence similarity 159 member B, membrane protein FAM159B, and protein shisa-like-2B. SHISAL2B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. Some SHISAL2B antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
