Anti-CALHM6 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein calcium homeostasis modulator family member 6. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 315 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the CALHM protein family, CALHM6 is reported to be a pore-forming subunit of a voltage-gated ion channel. Synonyms for this target antigen include IFN regulatory factor 3-dependent NK-activating molecule, family with sequence similarity 26 member F, protein FAM26F, and calcium homeostasis modulator protein 6. CALHM6 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some CALHM6 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
