Anti-BCLAF3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein BCLAF1 and THRAP3 family member 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 711 amino acid residues and a mass of 83.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the BCLAF1/THRAP3 protein family, BCLAF3 is known to be involved with the regulation of transcription. Synonyms for this target antigen include uncharacterized protein CXorf23. BCLAF3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the BCLAF3 antibodies listed below. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
