Anti-stromal antigen 3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the stromal antigen 3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the STAG3 gene, which encodes STAG3 cohesin complex component. The human version of stromal antigen 3 has a canonical amino acid length of 1225 residues and a protein mass of 139 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in the testis. Other names for this target antigen include SA3, SPGF61, and cohesin subunit SA-3. A number of stromal antigen 3 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for these antibodies.
