Anti-ATP5PO antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ATP synthase peripheral stalk subunit OSCP. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 213 amino acid residues and a mass of 23.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the ATPase delta chain protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including acetylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include ATPO, HMC08D05, MC5DN7, OSCP, ATP synthase subunit O, mitochondrial, and ATP5O. ATP5PO gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of ATP5PO antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
