Anti-DHX9 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein DExH-box helicase 9. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1270 amino acid residues and a mass of 141 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the DEAD box helicase protein family, DHX9 is known to be involved with TNF-mediated cellular signaling pathways and DNA replication. Post-translational modifications have been described, including methylation and phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include LKP, NDH2, NDHII, RHA, ATP-dependent RNA helicase A, and DDX9. DHX9 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species.
