Anti-FGFB antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target FGFB is a known alias name of the protein fibroblast growth factor 2, encoded by the FGF2 gene in humans. This 288-amino acid residue protein is known to act as a ligand for FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3 and FGFR4. It is localized to the nucleus and is secreted of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in granulosa and cumulus cells. Other synonyms for FGFB include BFGF and BFGF. Western Blot is the most common application for the FGFB antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
