Anti-MAJIN antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein membrane anchored junction protein. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 176 amino acid residues and a mass of 20.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the MAJIN protein family, MAJIN is known to be involved with spermatogenesis. MAJIN gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. ELISA is the most common application for the MAJIN antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry are also common applications.
