Anti-CATSPERZ antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein catsper channel auxiliary subunit zeta. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 200 amino acid residues and a mass of 22.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell projections and membrane. CATSPERZ is reported to be an auxiliary component of the CatSper complex, a complex involved in sperm cell hyperactivation. Synonyms for this target antigen include TEX40, cation channel sperm-associated auxiliary subunit zeta, catSper-zeta, catSperzeta, cation channel sperm-associated protein subunit zeta, and C11orf20. CATSPERZ gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the CATSPERZ antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
