Anti-SS18 like 2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the SS18L2 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 77 amino acid residues and a mass of 8.8 kDa. The SS18 like 2 protein is a member of the SS18 protein family. Other names for this target antigen include SS18-like protein 2, SYT homolog 2, synovial sarcoma translocation gene on chromosome 18-like 2, and KIAA-iso.
