Anti-MINDY2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein MINDY lysine 48 deubiquitinase 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 621 amino acid residues and a mass of 67.1 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the MINDY deubiquitinase protein family, MINDY2 is a known hydrolase that can remove 'Lys-48'-linked conjugated ubiquitin from proteins. Synonyms for this target antigen include ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase MINDY-2, MINDY deubiquitinase 2, deubiquitinating enzyme MINDY-2, family with sequence similarity 63 member B, protein FAM63B, and FAM63B. MINDY2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some MINDY2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
