Anti-B-cell receptor associated protein 29 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target B-cell receptor associated protein 29 is a known alias name of the protein B cell receptor associated protein 29, encoded by the BCAP29 gene in humans. This 241-amino acid residue protein is believed to play a role in anterograde transport of membrane proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi. It is localized to the ER of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
