Anti-VPS26B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein VPS26 retromer complex component B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 336 amino acid residues and a mass of 39.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane and cytoplasm. A member of the VPS26 protein family, VPS26B is known to act as component of the retromer cargo-selective complex (CSC). Synonyms for this target antigen include vacuolar protein sorting-associated protein 26B and vesicle protein sorting 26B. VPS26B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of VPS26B antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
