Anti-RETREG2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein reticulophagy regulator family member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 543 amino acid residues and a mass of 57.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebral cortex and testis. It is a member of the RETREG protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include family with sequence similarity 134 member A, metastasis associated gene-2, protein FAM134A, and reticulophagy regulator 2. RETREG2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the RETREG2 antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunocytochemistry is also a common application.
