Anti-STUM antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein stum, mechanosensory transduction mediator homolog. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 141 amino acid residues and a mass of 15 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is a member of the SPEC3 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein stum homolog and stumble homolog. STUM gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the STUM antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
