Anti-MINDY1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein MINDY lysine 48 deubiquitinase 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 469 amino acid residues and a mass of 51.8 kDa. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the MINDY deubiquitinase protein family, MINDY1 is a known hydrolase that can specifically remove 'Lys-48'-linked conjugated ubiquitin from proteins. Synonyms for this target antigen include MINDY deubiquitinase 1, MIU-containing novel DUB family member 1, deubiquitinating enzyme MINDY-1, family with sequence similarity 63 member A, and ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase MINDY-1. MINDY1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some MINDY1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
