Anti-PSP94 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PSP94 is a known alias name of the protein microseminoprotein beta, encoded by the MSMB gene in humans. This 114-amino acid residue protein is a member of the Beta-microseminoprotein family. The protein is secreted and features post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in prostate, liver, kidney, breast and penis. Other synonyms for PSP94 include HPC13, HPC13, and IGBF. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for PSP94 antibodies.
