Anti-Phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit type 2 alpha antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PIK3C2A in humans. The gene may also be known as CPK, PI3KC2A, OCSKD, PI3-K-C2(ALPHA), PI3-K-C2A, and phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate 3-kinase C2 domain-containing subunit alpha. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 190.7 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
