Anti-Semaphorin 3E antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene SEMA3E in humans. The gene may also be known as M-SEMAH, M-SemaK, coll-5, and sema domain, immunoglobulin domain (Ig), short basic domain, secreted, (semaphorin) 3E. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 89.2 kilodaltons in mass. The SEMA3E marker can be used to identify Deep-Layer Corticothalamic And 6B Neurons.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
