Anti-ZNF609 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zinc finger protein 609. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1411 amino acid residues and a mass of 151.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 2 different isoforms for this protein. ZNF609 is reported to be a transcription factor, which activates RAG1, and possibly RAG2, transcription.
