Anti-APOBEC3D antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein apolipoprotein B mRNA editing enzyme catalytic subunit 3D. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 386 amino acid residues and a mass of 46.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. It is reported to be expressed in lymphoid organs. A member of the Cytidine and deoxycytidylate deaminase protein family, APOBEC3D is known to be involved with innate immune responses. Synonyms for this target antigen include apolipoprotein B mRNA editing enzyme, catalytic polypeptide-like 3D, apolipoprotein B mRNA editing enzyme, catalytic polypeptide-like 3E pseudogene, probable DNA dC->dU-editing enzyme APOBEC-3D, and DNA dC->dU-editing enzyme APOBEC-3D. Some APOBEC3D antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
