Anti-Vitronectin antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene VTN in humans. The Vitronectin protein has a reported amino acid length of 478 and an expected mass of 54.3 kDa. The protein may also be known as VN, V75, VNT, S-protein, and complement S-protein. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
