Anti-MAST3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein microtubule associated serine/threonine kinase 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1309 amino acid residues and a mass of 143.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. A member of the AGC Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family, MAST3 is known to be involved with cytoskeleton organization and intracellular signal transduction. The MAST3 gene has been associated with the disease, Developmental and epileptic encephalopathy. Synonyms for this target antigen include DEE108 and microtubule-associated serine/threonine-protein kinase 3. MAST3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some MAST3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
