Anti-USP34 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ubiquitin specific peptidase 34. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 3546 amino acid residues and a mass of 404.2 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Peptidase C19 protein family, USP34 is reported to be a ubiquitin hydrolase that can remove conjugated ubiquitin from AXIN1 and AXIN2, thereby acting as a regulator of Wnt signaling pathway. Synonyms for this target antigen include deubiquitinating enzyme 34, ubiquitin specific protease 34, ubiquitin thioesterase 34, ubiquitin thiolesterase 34, ubiquitin-specific-processing protease 34, and ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 34. USP34 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of USP34 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
