Anti-G1 to S phase transition 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene GSPT1 in humans. The gene may also be known as eRF3a, GST1, ETF3A, and 551G9. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 55.8 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
