Anti-PTPDC1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein protein tyrosine phosphatase domain containing 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 754 amino acid residues and a mass of 84.5 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Protein-tyrosine phosphatase protein family, PTPDC1 is believed to play roles in cilia formation and/or maintenance. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein tyrosine phosphatase domain-containing protein 1 and protein tyrosine phosphatase PTP9Q22. PTPDC1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunocytochemistry is the most common application for the PTPDC1 antibodies listed below. Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
