Anti-Glutathione peroxidase 3 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene GPX3 in humans. The gene may also be known as GSHPx-P, GPx-P, GSHPx-3, GPx-3, and extracellular glutathione peroxidase. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 25.6 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, plant, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
