Anti-PHF7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein PHD finger protein 7. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 381 amino acid residues and a mass of 43.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in Sertoli cells, but not in germ cells in adult testis. PHF7 is believed to play a role in spermatogenesis. Synonyms for this target antigen include HSPC226, NYD-SP6, testicular secretory protein Li 34, testis development protein NYD-SP6, and HSPC045. PHF7 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the PHF7 antibodies listed below. Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
